The Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium and second annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition offer a glimpse into the various STEM-related research projects conducted by undergraduate students participating in summer REU programs at the University of Notre Dame and Saint Mary's College. This event is free and open to the Notre Dame and Saint Mary's communities and the general public.

The schedule is outlined below. More information will be posted soon, including the final schedule of presenters and abstract book. 

Symposium and 3MT Schedule

• 10:00-11:00 a.m. Poster Session 1
• 11:00-11:15 a.m. Break
• 11:15-12:15 p.m. Poster Session 2
• 12:30-2:00 p.m.   3MT Competition

During last year's event, 116 students presented 111 different research projects across multiple disciplines in collaboration with faculty in 4 colleges and 14 departments at the University of Notre Dame and Saint Mary's College, representing 16 summer REU programs.
