Professor Davis will take you through an interactive tour of the universe. You'll start out on Earth, identify some objects in the October sky and learn about upcoming astronomical events in the fall. Then you'll fly off of Earth into a fully realized 3D visualization of the universe. You'll fly to the planets in the solar system, the confirmed extrasolar planets in the galaxy, and galaxies out to the edge of the universe. The DVT uses real astronomical data to illustrate a flight through the universe itself. Come with all the questions you've ever wanted to ask about astronomy and astrophysics.
