At Notre Dame

Notre Dame Student Film Festival
The Notre Dame Student Film Festival screens films made by ND undergraduates during the past year as class projects. These students study the art of filmmaking in advanced, intermediate, and introductory film production courses taught in the Department of Film, Television, and Theatre.  All films are shot on location and often feature the acting talents of Notre Dame students and faculty.

Art, Art History, and Design Events
An annual showing of all completed theses from the department.

Snite Museum of Art Essay Competition
Each academic year, the Snite Museum of Art, in conjunction with the University Writing Program and the First Year of Studies, celebrates the best essay by a first-year student on a topic related to a work of art in the museum’s collection. First, second, and third place winners will receive $150, $125, and $100 cash awards, respectively, and have their essays published in Fresh Writing, Volume 17.
